Uh, my dog ate my newest post...

I know, I haven't updated this in a while. But thanks for noticing.

My personal laptop broke. What, that's not an excuse, it really happened.

Honestly, I don't even know how it lasted this long. You want a dependable abuse-taking laptop purchase a Dell, because that thing... spent long lonely hours baking on the summer-scorched leather of my car seats.

It was dropped, from high distances (not on purpose). It was taken apart by me, with screwdrivers that were too big, as I searched for problems, cleaned out dust, looked for interesting circuit boards, then it was put together, also with a over-sized screwdriver and a hammer. When I was done putting it back together, there were extra pieces, I have no idea where they came from.

It was spilled on, for some reason, beverages, me and electronic equipment are a bad mix. It was left in the trunk of my car, in the sub-zero temps of the darkest January nights. In the morning when I'd take it out, there would be condensation, which I'd eradicate with a hairdryer. Hey, it worked. Except for those water spots on the inside of the screen.

But anyway, I plan on getting a new one soon. But until then, may you rest in peace, dear Dell Inspiron Notebook from 2000.
