Casinos hit with declining revenues....like I'm really going to feel bad

NJ's casino revenues fell for the first time last year and reports show the numbers continue to slide. Casinos are blaming their revenue shortages on climbing gas prices, competition from out of state casinos and the newly enacted smoking ban. True, they're still raking in billions, but that's not enough, apparently.

But do we really feel bad for them?

Like, casinos have been directly causing my revenue shortages ever since I legally set foot on the gambling floor. But, personal experiences aside, as a nation, we're facing an economic recession, crime is up higher than ever before, and the dollar is lower than ever before.

So for the casinos to suffer a loss for the first time since their inception, isn't all that bad, right?

So if they're looking for some sympathy, or tax breaks from the state, I say no freaking way.
